1. Placing Your Order Online
A. How do I place an order online?
Add the item(s) to your cart and proceed to checkout. We will verify your order against our physical inventory before sending a confirmation email with the payment instructions.
Orders placed after 5pm will be processed the next working day. We accept PayNow and bank transfers for online orders.

B. Is stock guaranteed once I checkout?
Not immediately. Many of our items are one-off pieces and are sold concurrently in our physical store. Your order is only confirmed after we have verified the physical stock and sent you an order confirmation.
C. How long do you hold an unpaid order?
Once your order is confirmed, we offer a complimentary 24‑hour reservation for payment. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the item may be released to the next interested buyer.
D. Do you deliver and how much does it cost?
Yes — we offer islandwide delivery in Singapore for single receipts of $400 and above. Orders below $400 incur an additional delivery fee, which varies by item size, quantity, and delivery location.

3. Reservation Policy
A. Can I reserve an item I am interested in?
Most of our pieces are one-of-a-kind, so we offer a complimentary 24-hour hold per customer. As items are available both in-store and online, reservations are managed alongside walk-in customers, with “KIV” stickers marking items on hold.
If you’re interested in a piece currently reserved for another customer, please approach our sales team to indicate your interest. We will add you to the waitlist and contact you if it becomes available.

B. Do I need to pay a deposit?
No deposit is required for reservation of items.
C. How many items can I reserve?
As our products are mostly one-offs, we allow each customer to reserve a maximum of 3 items.
4. Other Buying Tips
A. Can I request for refurbishing after I place an order?
Refurbishment requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may not be available for all items.
Please reach out to our sales team to check whether refurbishment is possible for the piece you’re interested in. Kindly note that additional charges and lead time will apply.

B. Does Hock Siong do trade-ins?
We don’t offer direct trade-ins, but you can still submit your piece for review. Even if it was originally purchased from Hock Siong, we may not always be able to buy it back — it depends on the style, condition, and what we’re curating at the point in time.

C. Do you clean or refurbish before selling?
Most pieces are cleaned and, where needed, lightly refurbished before being listed. We also offer a selection of fully refurbished items on our webstore.
Any wear or imperfections are stated in the item description, and we recommend reading through it before purchasing. You’re also welcome to visit our retail store to view the pieces in person before confirming your purchase.
