  • An ornate Javanese gamelan gong stand (also known as gayor gong), traditionally used to suspend the large gongs of a gamelan ensemble. Painted in deep red, brown and gold, the wooden frame is richly carved with scrolling motifs and crowned by a pair of dramatic gilded naga-like dragons. Even without the gong, it makes quite a statement on its own.
