  • Hand-carved from a single solid wood, this sculptural side bench celebrates conversation and connection. 
    Inspired by the 19th‑century tête‑à‑tête (partner's chair), two gently contoured seats face one another across a low, flowing "S" form. Natural grain, knots and natural crack lines are left visible for organic character.

  • Multiple natural split/crack lines across the seating surface and grain, formed from seasonal expansion and contraction. Cracks appear stable (no active separation) but are visible and run through the carved seat hollows in places.
  • Several water ring marks / localized discolorations on the seat and rims consistent with past exposure to moisture or liquids.
  • Surface scuffs, light scratches and minor edge wear are present, along with natural knots.
